This morning I had a doctor's appointment that I have been anticipating for a long time. Six months ago he told me I had to do something about my weight and that my cholesterol was high, and that I had to get that under control or he would prescribe medication. I am told that once you go on cholesterol medication you are on it forever...
So here is the report: I lost 30 lbs and my BP was 110/70... WOW!!! They are doing bloodwork, but I don't have the results on that yet. I am so excited!! In November my BP was 123/82, so this was a significant improvement. I also showed him my Sports Tracker app that has the total of my activities (walking and cycling)... He seemed to be pleased at the work I am doing. 24 workouts, total time 09:37:26, Distance 60.94 miles, Calories 3,923 kcal.
I missed my bike ride and walk today because I had the doctor's appointment. Tomorrow I have an appointment to have the a/c on my car checked. If I don't get out there early in the day, I don't get the ride in because the feels like temp today was 87 or something!! It has started to be very humid lately. I have to get a handle on when to do exercise, when to drink juice, how much heat and humidity I can stand, etc. I can also go for a swim because I have a pool where I live. There are a lot of possibilities.
I have to get to bed so I can get up and do a bike ride before I go to the car shop tomorrow morning. Goodnight all....
